A new proposal seeks to double the Illinois Film and TV production industry, while expanding opportunities for minorities seeking jobs in production
Under a new proposal pushed by the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, the Illinois Production Alliances and others, the Illinois Film and TV production business is expected to double to $1 billion a year. This proposal would also open the door to more job opportunities and better pay for Blacks and Latinos in film production.
