Quriosity Productions Signs Comedy Director, Kenneth Yoder

AUG 11 2014

Quriosity Productions signs comedy Director, KENNETH YODER. Yoder is an award winning Chicago based writer/director who works in commercials, branded entertainment, television, film, plus he looks great in a bunny suit.

To date, Yoder is credited on over thirty major studio motion pictures and network television series. In 2006, Yoder produced an independent comedy pilot called “Chicagoland” for executive producer Scott Thompson, of the comedy troupe Kids in the Hall. This experience encouraged him to write and direct his own pilot “Lowering The Bar” which would go on to win the 2009 Chicago Comedy TV Pilot Competition sponsored by the Illinois Film Office. As a performer and writer, Kenneth was trained at the Chicago institutions Second City, iO (formerly Improv Olympic) and The Annoyance Theater.

In addition to directing his hilarious commercials Yoder is currently promoting the release of his web series, “Rodrigo Quintez: Quality Children’s Entertainer” while simultaneously writing a new series, “Camp” and cutting his teeth on writing his first feature film. “Kenneth is one of the most driven, talented, and passionate directors I’ve worked with. He somehow brings the best out of everyone around him all while staying humble and gracious. I’m lucky to have spent some time with Kenneth, his mind is a weird, strange place.” – Sara Martin, Producer.

“Kenneth Yoder is a valuable asset to our Quriosity roster. Since he has spent just as much time in front of the camera as behind it, he truly understands comedic timing and talent. His energetic wit and direction on set makes the production day just as entertaining as his commercials.”
– Jenny Lumpkin, Quriosity Director of Sales.
