Victor Ridaura Awarded at SLAMDANCE

Quriosity’s Director Victor Ridaura has won third place at the Slamdance Film Festival for his screenplay Sundown County

Victor’s screenplay Sundown Country talks about his life experiences in the United States adapting and absorbing himself into its culture. The experiences he references in his film are regarding race and racism in the United States. His interview with Medium on how he found his voice through writing can be found here

 

 

Slamdance is such a vivacious, distinctive and inimitable festival” which started in 1995 as an alternative to Sundance Film Festival. Slamdance’s President Peter Baxter says
